Immigration Attorney The candidate will provide legal representation to individuals on immigration matters including representation in court appearances. Will conduct thorough consultations with clients and make appropriate referrals to outside agencies and prepping sessions with clients for interviews with immigration judges. Supervise the work of paralegals in recordkeeping and document preparation. Preparing documents in client's file. Managing legal documentation and correspondence confidentiality. Drafting motions, orders, judgments and status updates. The candidate should have Admission to the bar in the state of New York which need to practice. 1-2 years of experience or expertise is required. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail is required. Must have excellent bilingual verbal communication skills between clients and attorneys. 1 year experience is required; asylum case experience preferred.
