Intellectual Property Paralegal Candidate must have: Experience handling document productions, including electronic Bates labeling and logging of document productions. Experience with e-discovery software and ability to communicate with e-discovery vendors to upload/download document productions and to process document productions for production to other parties in lawsuits. Experience with online document sharing services such as Dropbox and Sharefile. Experience with document review and issue coding. Experience creating privilege logs. Experience handling and securing computer source code. Experience drafting memos and logs regarding deposition scheduling, document productions, etc. Experience drafting discovery responses. Experience calculating and docketing deadlines and court dates on the firm calendar. Experience distributing court documents to team members and clients. Familiarity with the stages and vocabulary involved in patent litigation and with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and various local patent rules. Familiarity using Westlaw and other online resources to research regarding parties and witnesses. Ability to attendance at hearings, depositions and trials in Dallas and out of town as needed for support. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
