Post Closing Paralegal The candidate assures all closing instructions and conditions have been met. Forwards complete closed loan package to lender according to lender requirements. Properly transmits all documents to be recorded to clerk for recording within 24-48 hours of disbursement. Assures all remaining disbursement checks are mailed within 24-48 hours. Assures files have all documentation required by the lender. Assures lender s title policies and owner s title policies are sent to the appropriate parties within 30 days of disbursement. Forwards recorded documents to the appropriate parties within 10 days of receipt from the county. Returns all calls in a timely manner. Assists Closers with cutting correct recording checks, when necessary. Conduct asset searches using databases and perform research using court and government websites. Observes confidentiality of firm and client matters. Provide excellent customer service externally and internally. Must have 2 years of related real estate/closing experience. Industry software experience, SoftPro preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred.
