Legal Secretary (Litigation) The candidate's duties include: Significant client contact - in person, by telephone and by e-mail; Routine telephone calls with opposing counsel, court clerks, court reporters, etc. Intake of new clients, preparing engagement letters and handling retainers; Scheduling consultations, appointments, depositions, etc. Maintaining and updating attorney calendars; Preparing pleadings for court filing and service; Preparing exhibit binders and hearing/trial binders for attorneys; Draft client correspondence and various pleadings; Perform administrative support functions, such as opening mail, scanning documents, e-mailing documents to clients, maintaining client files, meeting with clients, etc. Should have Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate preferred; Should have Minimum of two years of litigation law experience; Working knowledge of Forms Work Flow.
