Part-Time Junior Attorney The candidate will draft legal documents and correspondence with minimal supervision based on attorney input. Will attend office phone calls, client meetings, client inquiries, calendaring, and coordinating client meetings. Interact with clients and ensure that their matters receive timely attention, coordinate billing. Some admin duties, such as copying, faxing and scanning documents, collating closing sets, etc. Conduct legal research under attorney supervision. The candidate should have a high school/diploma degree - paralegal certification or CA Bar license. Must have 1 - 3 years of law firm/in-house experience. Experience representing startups will be a strong plus. Familiarity with Carta preferred. Must be able to work both independently and as a part of a team. Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and honest. Must have excellent oral and written communication abilities, and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to maintain client relationships is required. Must maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Must have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Adobe Pro. Must have good drafting skills, including the ability to customize firm templates and tailor them to client's legal needs under attorney supervision. Must be highly organized, communicative, and pro-active in managing tasks. The ability to prioritize and multitask is imperative is required. Bilingual preferred.
