Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for supporting attorneys by performing a variety of administrative duties, including drafting legal correspondence, answering phones and greeting visitors and communicating with attorneys, clients and court personnel. Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, coordinating case preparation. Drafting letters and documents; Collecting and analyzing information; organizing client conferences, and attorney meetings; scheduling couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special functions. Maintains client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential. Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; maintaining transcripts; documenting and maintaining evidence. Schedule court depositions, hearings and other meetings. Process third party and vendor invoices. File documents with the court ahead of deadlines. Perform a wide variety of duties as assigned.
