Legal Office Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will join a Law firm specializing in immigration law, business law, personal injury, and family law. Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor with clients. Maintains client confidentiality. Handle tasks quickly and efficiently. Organizes legal documents and files. Obtains pertinent case information and data from the clients. Processes mail; determines and enters any necessary case notes for items received. Answers phones. Organizing & filing at the office; Filing documents at the Courthouse. Draft simple documents. Draft & send out correspondence/letters.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree. Prior law office experience required. Ability to speak Spanish or Vietnamese is helpful. Must be very organized. Excellent writing and computer skills. Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, computers and other pertinent office equipment. Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient. Professional. Great customer service. Quick learner. Ability to communicate effectively & precisely and to prioritize and independently manage a great number of deadlines and tasks.
