Senior-level Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys with major affordable housing and community development real estate transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of loan documents, review of title, survey, and other due diligence, organization of pre-and post-closing documents, and management of transactions and closings. Must have a college degree and 5+ years of commercial real estate experience with a law firm, title company, mortgage company, or other related entity; experience in commercial real estate development and finance transactions to join sophisticated affordable housing and community development real estate practice; demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks; strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent technical writing skills, are essential. Past work on affordable housing and/or community development transactions. Intermediate-level skills working with Microsoft Office applications, document management systems, and time-keeping software are necessary. Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team and with clients; able to work overtime when needed; high performing and detail-oriented.
