Legal Secretary Duties: Electronic filings. Format pleadings pursuant to code & prepare pleadings for filing/service. Prepare proofs of service. Create trial binders. Prepare share links for voluminous documents. Provide back-up support for other secretaries. Mail and scanning. Manage office supplies. Any other Legal Secretarial duties requested by the supervising Attorney. Qualifications: must have 2 years A? experience in a Law Firm setting as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant. Civil litigation experience in complex litigation preferred. Have experience working on cases from start to finish, from first filing up to & including trial support. Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to work well independently, as well as be part of a team. Candidate should be able to prioritize tasks and work proactively. Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must know Adobe and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook, LexisNexis, and Pacer.
