Legal Secretary The candidate's responsibilities of a Legal Secretary include, but are not limited to: Producing information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting data; Reviewing and verifying correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; and taking responsibility for organizing client conferences, scheduling couriers and preparing submittals for expert evaluation; Maintaining attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, depositions, and travel Recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements; monitoring evidence-gathering and deadlines. Should have knowledge of PA and NJ e-filing; and of Microsoft Office suite. Should have strong communication, grammar and typing skills Knowledge of digital dictation, a must. Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment with great efficiency and accuracy. Must at least 3 years of legal experience. Desired Skills and Experience in Filing Clerical Skills General Correspondence, Electronic Filing, Phone Etiquette and Typing.
