Family Law/ Litigation Attorney (part-time) The candidate must have 2 years of experience. Should have Active license to practice law in the State of California. Experience making court appearances, including at least one trial/evidentiary hearing. A proactive, efficient approach to case management and disinclination to churn cases. A sense of humor and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience working with clients in crisis, including those who have experienced trauma. A professional (and usually collegial) demeanor when working with opposing counsel. Recognition that good support staff must be treated in a friendly and professional manner at all times. Dependability and punctuality without exception for court appearances and appointments. Excellence in oral and written communication, and legal research. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently, and as part of a dynamic team; and A good reputation with judges and attorneys, and established good relations with court staff.
