Legal Secretary Responsibilities: Prepare legal documents for attorney's approval and use by identifying forms and formats; producing text; proofreading; maintaining document control system. Oversee cases by managing files and documents; coordinating with support services and clients; managing calendar and deadlines; generating status reports and logs. Ability to enter billable time in Timeslips billing software in a manner relevant to the client for work performed. Support Attorneys who handle Trust & Estates, Business, Real Estate, Tax, and Charitable Planning matters. Qualifications: Should preferably have a High school or equivalent degree. Must have 10 years of experience working for a law firm (litigation or transactional); strong commitment to quality client service; strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, and Excel); excellent communication skills, ability to organize own work to meet deadlines, experience billing on time, speed and accuracy; the ability to work on great cases and interact with sophisticated clients and be part of the process while assisting attorneys.
