Attorney Recruiting Specialist responsibility for a wide range of attorney recruiting functions, including all aspects of attorney recruiting, lateral recruiting, summer associate recruiting, and summer associate programs. Supports diversity initiatives as they relate to attorney recruiting. Assisting with all aspects of legal recruiting in accordance with strategic growth plans for the Firm. Identify new strategies for marketing and promoting the firm to prospective candidates. Be point-person for lateral placements and outplacements through headhunters. Schedule and manage office interviews, offers, and rejections, in collaboration with Chief Attorney Recruiting & Development Officer, Attorney Recruiting Manager(s), attorneys and Recruiting Committees. Organize pre-arrival activities including conflicts review, bar review, bar exam and related issues, offer materials and advances. Handle escalated recruiting inquiries and issues to ensure appropriate resolution. Work with the Recruiting Committee Chairs, Chief Attorney Recruiting & Development Officer, Attorney Recruiting Manager(s)and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer in the recruitment of law students and lawyers of diverse backgrounds. Review applications, schedule office interviews, offers, and rejections, in collaboration with Recruiting Committees. Facilitate annual summer associate programs. Organize and attend Summer Associate events and functions. Coordinate work project evaluations and summaries. Facilitate the on-campus interview process. Plan and organize Recruiting Committee meetings. Produce monthly, year-end and ad hoc recruiting reports. Direct information management including record keeping, statistics and reports. Maintain membership in the National Association for Law Placement to remain current on the legal industry and recruitment. Develop budgets and monitor expenses for outreach and recruiting efforts. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years of office experience. Strong technology skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Highly professional with a strong customer service orientation, commitment to meeting deadlines, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong professional, independent thinking skills with strength in problem solving and the ability to offer constructive opinions and creative solutions. A team player who motivates and educates other team members. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the position. Preferred Education & Experience: 3-5 years of office experience; preferably in area of corporate or law diversity initiatives. Experience recruiting, preferably in professional areas. Experience with recruiting software. Experience with viDesktop preferred.
