Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for: Assist Attorneys with Plaintiff Side Personal Injury, Business Tort, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense Matters. Conduct research. Maintain attorney's trial calendar (motion dates, hearings, depositions, travel, filing dates, deadlines, discovery dates, etc. ). Manage stages of a personal injury claim, including intake, demands, discovery, medical records,bills, damage charts, settlement memorandum, basic pleadings, initial filings, etc. Make initial filings in criminal defense cases. E-filing. Communication and scheduling with various courts and opposing counsel. Assist attorneys in preparation of depositions, trials, mediation, and appeals. Should have 2+ years paralegal experience. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
