Real Estate Attorney Part-Time The candidate will involve reviewing, drafting and negotiating ground, rooftop and warehouse leases, easements and other rights of way, options to lease and purchase real property, acquisition contracts and other real estate-related agreements, reviewing and negotiating title commitments and title policies, negotiating curative documents for clouds on title, reviewing surveys, performing due diligence on the real estate aspects of renewable energy developments and acquisitions and advising on real property-related project finance documents such as estoppel certificates, subordination and non-disturbance agreements and mortgages/deeds of trust, and other related aspects of real estate law. The candidate will be expected to manage the real property aspects of the energy project development cycle while understanding how real property control considerations play into the entitlement, construction, interconnection, operation and decommissioning stages of energy generation and storage projects. 3 years of full-time real estate law practice experience. A background and/or demonstrated interest in renewable energy and transactional law is ideal. Please note that we are looking for a candidate with at least a few years of relevant experience, this position is not suited for a new law graduate are required. Active bar membership in good standing in your U.S. jurisdiction of residence is required.
