Legal Secretary The candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. Responsible for document preparation, editing; file maintenance and client billing. Work for five timekeepers, time entry, electronic filings, pleadings, and processing mail. Client contact in person and over the phone. Travel arrangements and reimbursements. Handles administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information. These duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature. Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. Should have 5 years of legal experience in a mid to large sized law firm. Must be proficient in legal secretarial and administrative tasks including document preparation, filing, time entry, expenses, telephone contact, travel arrangements and calendar maintenance. Familiarity with local court rules is an advantage. Must be proficient in MS Word, Outlook (including utilization of styles and formatting), Excel and PowerPoint. Strong typing skills are ideal. Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent client service.
