Immigration Associate Attorney The candidate will provide consultations to prospective clients. Manage full independent caseload and provide litigation support to partners. Represent clients before the immigration court, USCIS, ICE, the BIA, and federal courts. Conduct legal research and writing for cases before the above agencies and courts. Occasionally attend appearances outside of San Francisco. Ability to drive strongly preferred. Occasionally meet with detained clients in person at detention centers. Provide legal advice to criminal attorneys regarding immigration consequences of criminal pleas. J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required. Admittance to the California State Bar required. Experience in immigration law required. Spanish fluency (or strong proficiency) is required.
