Litigation Paralegal - Medical Malpractice Defense The candidate will review and summarize medical records, depositions and other discovery materials in complex medical malpractice cases. Will assist with research for and retention of qualified expert witnesses. Communications with clients, witnesses, and medical experts. Facilitate medical record reviews with expert witnesses. Assist attorneys with trial by coordinating witnesses and managing trial exhibits. Manage electronic databases. The candidate should have 5+ years of civil litigation or medical malpractice experience. Nursing or medical experience a plus. Must have experience with review and organization of medical records. Must have Paralegal certificate and/or college degree (Bachelor's Degree in health care related field, nursing, business, or paralegal studies preferred). Trial experience a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and accommodate rush requests is required. Must be a team player, willing to help others during peak times; culture is very important and a good fit with our organization is vital. Must have excellent computer skills, using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and virtual work environment.
