Attorney Recruiter Duties: Reports directly to the Director of Recruiting & Retention and is responsible for the coordination of firm-wide lateral attorney recruitment and retention activities which include; creating and posting attorney recruiting ads on the Firm website and corresponding job boards, sourcing candidates, attending nationwide diversity career fairs, tracking and reporting Firm-wide recruiting data, phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews and helping to coordinate Summer Associate recruiting efforts and as well as supporting the Summer Associate program. Work closely with the Professional Development & Inclusion Department to achieve firm goals and objectives with attorney recruiting. Attend and coordinate participation in diversity career fairs. Coordinate recruiting features of the firm s website careers pages, as well as the firm s use of social media for attorney recruiting purposes. Provide guidance to hiring managers regarding firm protocol, approval process, best practices. Communicate with applicants, provide positive candidate experience. Work with local offices and Managing Shareholders to draft and place advertisements for open positions as well as screen resumes. The go-to person for headhunters and legal search firms, facilitate those relationships and manage their submissions. Candidate sourcing. Perform associate and counsel attorney exit surveys and calls . Work with local offices to coordinate recruiting efforts with law schools for the Track and report summer associate program data, including full time offers. Report and track data related to Recruiting & Retention. Assist with Firm NALP Surveys and other national surveys as assigned. Assist in training new team members on department expectations and protocol as well as other duties as appropriate. Assist Director of Recruiting & Retention with miscellaneous administrative projects including vendor research, project submissions, attorney and diversity recruiting research, ordering promotional items, expense reconciliation, budget planning and other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor s Degree and two or more years of recruiting or HR experience. Law Firm experience or experience recruiting in the legal or professional services industry is a plus. 5+ years combination recruiting, professional experience/education. Team mindset. Analytical Skills. Problem Solving Skills. Ability to train others. Communication skills listens well and obtains clarification and responds to inquiries and provides feedback in a timely manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Ability to thrive under a fast paced working environment.
