Veterans Compensation Paralegal The candidate will contact clients by phone and email. Will assist attorneys with all aspects of each client's case. Analyze each case and provide recommendations to attorneys regarding the probability of approval. Gather evidence. Evaluate VA decisions and determine the appropriate course of action for appeals. Process incoming mail daily. Order medical records. Fax and mail appeals and evidence. Complete VA forms. Keep track of relevant deadlines. Should preferably have 1 year of experience. Experience in working with the Department of Veterans Affairs is also a plus. Proficiency with computers is a must. Training on case management software will be preferred.
