Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will primarily manage the due diligence process for the origination, closing and servicing of commercial real estate debt transactions, in addition to working on other related matters within the practice. Take initiative to oversee all diligence aspects of transactions, as Fiorentino Law is a small boutique firm offering opportunities for individuals to lead and be entrepreneurial while working and collaborating on complex matters. Perform due diligence, including review of title (and underlying exceptions), survey and zoning reports (and underlying zoning ordinances) and coordinate resolution of issues with title companies, surveyors, lenders, sponsors and counsel. Order and review UCC financing statements and related filings, tax searches, judgment and bankruptcy search results. Review organizational documents and charts (including operating agreements, articles of formation, consents and resolutions) for various matters, including equity ownership, control and management and KYC. Prepare escrow instruction letters and other aspects of closing, including reviewing settlement statements and payoff letters. Review leases and prepare abstracts, estoppels and SNDAs. Oversee loan closing processes and work with transaction team. Should have 5 - 7 years of real estate transactional experience with significant experience reviewing title, survey and zoning matters. Entrepreneurial, resourceful, self-starter; demonstrates hustle and drive. Demonstrated ability to play lead roles and make sound decisions. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work both independently and within teams.
