Immigration Paralegal The candidate will assist, at a minimum, three attorneys and work with several support staff. Will work on a wide variety of family-based and employment-based cases. Will represent corporate and individual clients concerning a variety of immigration law matters, including: family and employment-based permanent residence (including I-130 petitions, National Interest Waivers, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 and EB-5, etc.); Non-immigrant work visas (including H-1B, E-2, O-1, TN, L visas, etc.). U.S. citizenship / naturalization; K-1 fiance visas; VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) self-petitions; Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals applications; I-601A Stateside Provisional Waivers; Humanitarian reinstatement requests; Other Waivers of Inadmissibility. The candidate must have a U.S. or foreign bachelor's degree. Lawful authorization to work in the U.S. is needed. Excellent English-writing skills. A strong command of the MSWord, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, INSZoom, or other immigration form software. Heavy phone coverage and client communication are required. Bilingual skills are preferred (English and Tagalog / Mandarin / Spanish) but not mandatory. Attention to detail and the ability to handle a large caseload are expected. Must care about the clients. Supreme attention to detail. Meticulous case organization. Work independently, while meeting all deadlines.
