Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate will prepare attorney correspondence, and other documents. Manage and open new client matters in an effective and efficient manner. Manage attorney calendars and schedules. Enter and revise attorneys time in time entry system (Intapp). Handle tasks associated with the management of client bills and invoices. Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, and seminars. Maintain and update filing system for the attorneys. Organize, prioritize, and manage large volumes of mail, email and phone calls. Respond to regularly occurring requests for information. Proofread documents for spelling and grammar making appropriate changes. Generate redline of documents. Formatting/revising briefs, pleadings and other legal documents. Generating TOC/TOA for briefs. Assisting with manual and electronic court filings. Serving discovery documents. Complete check requests and expense reports. General office duties, which may include, copying, filing, and client telephone contact. Assist others in on the secretarial team and office. Share information and expertise readily with team members. Other duties as assigned to provide professional service. Must have High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Should have 5+ years of secretarial experience required in a legal or professional services environment. Experience working with attorneys in a law firm environment preferred. Specific Employment and Compensation experience a plus. Must be knowledgeable with all aspects of litigation process, including familiar with court procedures. Should have experience with trial preparation. Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with attorney time entry preferred.
