Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will support attorneys on Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases. Will prepare and file/efile motions, orders, and objections with the Court. Prepare all legal documents with the onset of filing of complaints. Perform Office and Virtual Conferences with clients. Read and understand attorney strategies on assigned cases. Communicate with clients as required using email, regular mail, and the phone. Communicate internally with other departments (medical records, intake). Set calendar items in attorney calendars as required. Check case status as frequent as required per procedure. Contact clients as frequent per procedure. Open, sort, scan, and file incoming mail and faxes. Electronic and physical records maintenance, other duties as assigned. The candidate should have Degree in legal studies or equivalent. Should have strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Knowledge of property damage claims and liens is a plus. Should have proficiency Microsoft Office Suite Applications. Experience using Needles software a plus. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Should have 2+ years of experience in personal injury litigation. Experience with Discovery, Settlement Statements, Medical Chronologies, and Lien Reductions essential.
