Immigration Attorney The candidate will meet regularly with clients for consultations and affidavits. Prepare clients for interviews before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Asylum Office and for trials before the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Drafting briefs or arguments and researching innovative, legal ways to help clients. Should have JD degree from an accredited university. Must have 1+ year of experience in immigration or criminal law. Previous court litigation experience is a plus. Must have valid driver's license. Strong analytical and legal research writing skills are needed. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Ability and interest in taking on complex and difficult immigration cases is a must. Must have ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work accordingly. Should be highly resourceful and flexible in a fast-paced, energetic, collaborative work environment. Licensed to Practice Law in Virginia or Maryland is desired. Bilingual proficiency in the English and Spanish languages is preferred.
