Litigation Paralegal - Charleston The candidate will perform high-quality billable work and record time in accordance with client/firm policy. Conduct case research and investigation. Collect, analyze and summarize medical and other related records. Manage collection, organization, and production of electronic documents. Preparation and management of trial and hearing exhibits/demonstratives. Draft discovery and subpoenas. Work with expert consultants and witnesses. Assist multiple attorneys through all phases of litigation or administrative proceedings. Should have a College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience. Must have 3+ years of litigation experience in the areas of product liability, general tort, insurance defense, and premises liability. Must be proficient in reviewing and summarizing medical and other related records, summarizing depositions, as well as strong document management experience. Knowledge and experience with drafting discovery and subpoenas a must. Should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized, have technical and database skills, and possess pre-trial and trial experience. Must have attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
