Closing Attorney- Residential Real Estate The candidate must be licensed by the State Bar of Georgia. Should have 2+ years of experience in residential real estate law and must be a member (in good standing) of the State Bar of Georgia. Will be highly organized, computer savvy and able to multi-task. Must have: Knowledge of title reports, title opinions and title related matters is essential along with a thorough understanding of residential real estate contracts, earnest money dispute resolution tactics, agency law and the like. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong academic background are required. Ability to navigate all aspects of the residential real estate transaction from contract to closing and even to post closing matters if needed. Comfortable with the analysis and review of title reports and able to provide recommendations for or devise solutions for curing a multitude of title related issues. Able to assist the firm owner in day to day and pre-planned marketing activities as needed (initiating and attending mixers, lunches with clients, client appreciation events, etc.). Able to work in a paperless, automated and fast paced environment. Able to multi task to complete various tasks required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have an outgoing personality. Computer savvy with a fundamental knowledge of all Microsoft applications. Ability to manage a high volume workload and shift between offices, tasks, & teams with ease. Organized and detail oriented individual. Self- motivated, resourceful individual. Able to serve our client base as a legal resource/ go-to in a wide array of capacities. Able to work extended hours during the last 3 days of the month in order to accommodate increased closing volume.
