Attorneys and Law Clerks The candidate should have 1+ years of experience practicing law (with a preference for multiple years of experience) and must be authorized to work in the United States and licensed to practice law in California at the time of applying for the position (no exceptions will be made). Should have strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school. Litigation experience is desired (as opposed to transactional or in-house experience), which includes experience in drafting pleadings and various types of motions and briefs, oral advocacy and court appearances, interviewing witnesses, and conducting or defending depositions. Prior experience prosecuting or defending wage-and-hour class actions, or prosecuting or defending other complex litigation and class action matters, is preferred, but not required if the applicant can demonstrate significant, relevant litigation experience in other areas of the law. Must also be able to travel frequently.
