Workers' Compensation Defense Paralegal The candidate will be working in workers compensation department. Duties include: Requesting, obtaining and summarizing medical records; Drafting responses to discovery; Scheduling depositions, witness interviews and other meetings; Interviewing witnesses; Preparing file materials and exhibits for depositions, mediations, hearings and trials; Managing attorney schedules and calendars. Should have 3+ years of workers compensation defense experience. Should have ability to meet billing expectations. Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail needed. Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments and work load. Should have ability to take initiative in managing files. Excellent communication and written language skills needed. Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.
