This is the Atlanta outpost of an international firm. Although this firm is international, it still has a decidedly regional feel to it, and it international only to service certain valued clients. Life is reasonably good in the Atlanta office, where there are attorneys capable of handling every measure of legal problem faced by companies or corporations. Although the litigators are able to become more specialized, corporate associates have a general practice, which ocassional spreads them (and their expertise) a bit thin. Lagging behind in compensation, this firm is dedicated to associate life issues, and has, as a result, a good deal of devoted associates.
Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal The candidate will work with attorneys in its estate planning, taxation, commercial real estate, and corporate law practices. Will provide following duties: Prepare checklists and timelines; Maintain calendars for review of important deadlines and events; Draft and file documents; Perform research and searches; Maintain records. The candidate must have a four year degree from an accredited college or university, a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program, and experience working in one or all of these practice areas: Estate Planning and Probate, Commercial Real Estate, and Corporate. Must have demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Should have strong writing and proofreading skills. Must have ability to work well under pressure and coordinate several projects at once. Should have ability to meet strict deadlines. Must have ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
