Legal Secretary Health Care Candidate will support several attorneys in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice group. Will assist with all administrative and document processing tasks. Standard duties include coordinating attorney's calendars, interacting with clients, travel arrangements, editing and finalizing documents, entering time in Elite, processing new business intake forms, expense reconciliation and coordinating billing processes for assigned attorneys. Qualifications: A legal secretary certificate or associate's degree, and 5+ years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in a law firm or other legal environment. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Must also use exceptional judgement and discretion in carrying out work assignments and setting work priorities. Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to meet assigned deadlines and build/maintain positive working relationships with the assigned attorneys, external clients and secretarial team members. Excellent verbal, writing, grammar and proofreading skills are required to produce quality work. Attention to detail and strong communication skills and the ability to think through processes and anticipate needs are also required.
