Litigation Attorney The candidate will be drafting pleadings, briefs, memos, and discovery requests/responses. Conducting legal research. Investigating the factual and legal viability of potential cases. Working with expert witnesses. Attending and covering motions and other court hearings, presenting oral arguments,s and taking and defending depositions. Preparing for and, as necessary, participating in trials. Monitoring cases in order to satisfy deadlines Exploring and implementing ways to maximize case value. Communicating with clients with compassion and empathy and in a manner that encourages their confidence and trust. Supporting attorneys and staff within the litigation team. At least 1 -2 years of experience litigating personal injury cases. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. North Carolina license required.
