Associate Attorney Insurance Coverage The candidate should have 3+ years of property/casualty insurance coverage experience to join our Insurance Coverage, the practice group. Legal research regarding coverage and litigation issues. Coverage analysis - insurance policy review and claims fact review. Preparing draft coverage position letters. All aspects of insurance coverage litigation - pleadings, discovery, motions, trial, settlement. Writing articles on timely insurance topics. Should have Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school. Admission to DC bar or waiver eligibility (required). Admission(s) to MD and/or VA preferred. Should have 3+ years of property/casualty insurance coverage experience. Should have strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
