Pre-Closing Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Ordering title work from abstractors; Following up with abstractors and enforcing ETAs; Managing our title search database to ensure efficient turn around times; (For SC Files) Reviewing title notes and preparing commitments of title insurance on both First American and Chicago Title letterhead. (For NC Files) Reviewing title notes and preparing PTOs to send to independent title agencies in accordance with NC law. Prepping ancillary docs required by lenders including: Tax certifications; Pre-Closing Disclosures; CPLS; Communicating with lenders & clients to keep them apprised as to the status of their file. High school or equivalent (Required). Experience of 1 year (Required).
