Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense is preferable. The ability to work as both an essential part of a team and to work independently to manage your own tasks. Experience with virtual teams is preferable. A working knowledge of court rules in a variety of counties and venues, in addition to understanding complex legal concepts and terminology. Experience with drafting and responding to discovery, document production, reviewing and summarizing medical records, and preparing a case for trial. The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients, experts and vendors with superior attention to detail. A commitment to proactivity is preferable. Input is always encouraged. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Clio, Adobe Pro, macOS and Google apps is helpful.
