Paralegal/litigation Assistant Medical Defense The candidate will work with our dynamic Cleveland Medical Defense litigation practice. Must have 5+ of litigation defense experience, with all or some of the experience in medical malpractice and a willingness to work with multiple attorneys, strong technical skills, keen attention to detail, professional oral and written communication skills and demonstrated initiative. Duties include request, track and organize medical records, draft discovery requests, draft, proof and manage legal documents and correspondence in electronic database, manage and maintain firm databases and case materials to ensure all information is up to date, paper and electronic filing experience with federal, state and local courts, calendaring, timekeeping and professional interface with clients, counsel, courts and other duties as assigned.
