Associate Attorney The candidate should Understand the foreclosure process. Draft pleadings and motions; represent client at contested and uncontested hearings. Be able to communicate with clients on issues that may affect the foreclosure and advise on possible courses of action and likely range of outcomes. Able to handle a large caseload while attending hearings and overseeing paralegal staff. Must be able to meet billable hour goals monthly. Juris Doctor is required. Bar Admission: Minimum North Carolina, South Carolina or Maryland dual licensure a plus. Must have 1-2 years experience practice of law. Should have Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel. Basic understand of the foundations of secured debt, unsecured debt, default, and collections (focus on U.C.C. rules, mortgages, and contracts) is required. Must have basic understanding of real property law, title to real and personal property, evictions. Strong background reviewing title work and handeling title curative measures a plus.
