Attorney Recruitment and Development Manager The candidate will be responsible for in Support of the Hiring Partners, source lateral talent using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including online searches, job postings, internal database searches, law schools, referrals, and third party search Firms. Work closely with the Firm s Diversity Committee to develop and implement diversity recruiting initiatives. Become proficient in the Firm s practice areas, mission, strategic focus and growth strategy; articulate this information to candidates, search Firms, and other external entities. Support all aspects of the attorney recruitment process, including managing the candidate experience; creating and communicating schedules; arranging interviews and logistics; providing interview team support; collating, disseminating, and tracking feedback; and maintaining a reliable organizational system to ensure data related to candidates is accessible and useful over the course of a candidate s recruitment process. Continually manage information and materials related to attorney recruiting, such as statistics, analysis of recruiting trends, advertising/information materials, progress reports, budget, post-season recruiting analysis, and offer packages for review by the Management Committee. Coordinate the candidate due diligence process, including conflicts, reference and background checks, and bar verification process. Organize training and guidance in effective and appropriate recruiting and interviewing skills. In collaboration with the CHRO, maintain the lateral associate recruitment website pages and content, help facilitate the successful integration of all new associates and other attorneys, and coordinate lawyer training programs and initiatives as part of the Professional Development Leader and Associate Training Committee. Manage Firm-sponsored CLE programs for Firm lawyers and clients and maintain calendar of training programs. Determine CLE accreditation of Firm-sponsored courses in approved jurisdictions based on a review of relevant CLE rules and program materials; prepare applications for CLE credit for individual programs in other jurisdictions as needed; maintain accredited CLE provider status through record-keeping and reporting in compliance with the rules of those jurisdictions and seek accredited provider status in other jurisdictions as appropriate for Firm needs. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of full cycle recruiting experience is required. Prior legal recruiting experience is a must, including the demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of high-volume legal recruiting. Computer proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential.
