Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will assist in plaintiffs personal injury and local counsel works related to civil litigation matters. Obtaining and organizing medical records, arranging files, and confirming applicable lien amounts. Preparing settlement sheets, writing demand letters, and doing basic legal drafting including lawsuits from templates, discovery responses, and other documents. Perform scanning and copying. 1+ year of experience in personal injury is required. Must be an experienced paralegal with personal injury law firm experience. The ability and fortitude to track and follow-up on assignments is crucial. Proficiency with Word is essential. Important to have an excellent organizational, phone, interpersonal and writing skills. Acrobat and Excel knowledge are a plus.
