Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be preparing and responding to written discovery requests. Will be drafting pleading and motions under the supervision and review of an attorney. Reviewing written production for substance, relevance, and privilege. Calendaring and tracking deadlines. Communicating with counsel, clients, courts, and mediators. Efiling documents in state and federal courts. Performing basic research ion Westlaw and PACER. Preparing exhibits and exhibit lists, deposition exceprts and witness lists for arbitration or trial. Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings and trial. A paralegal certificate and a 1+ year of experience handling civil litigation are required.
