Paralegal, Workers' Compensation Duties: Assisting individuals who have been injured on the job file and pursue claims for workers compensation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Electronic filing of claims and appeals. Handle correspondence with claimants, medical offices and agencies. Extensive phone contact with agencies, clients and medical providers. Prepare case for hearings. Assist attorneys with post hearing follow up. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Workers Compensation experience. Paralegal experience preferred. Strong knowledge of PC applications, Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
