Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate will be editing and finalizing litigation documents, letters and reports. Will be serving in manual calendaring. Supporting up to four litigation attorneys. Filing with state and federal courts (including e-filing). General administrative duties such as answering phones, expense reports, travel arrangements and managing attorneys' schedules. The candidate should have 4-6 years of experience. Must possess strong civil litigation knowledge, excellent calendaring and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well independently within a busy office environment. Must have thorough knowledge of state and federal court filing requirements including experience with e-filing. Must have knowledge of calendaring (i.e. state and federal court rules, dates and procedures). Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) essential. Experience preparing legal documents including discovery, pleadings and judicial council forms needed. Good communication skills essential.
