Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Secretary The candidate duties includes: initial and ongoing client communication; investigation; requesting medical records and billing; organizing file; filing; handling mail; drafting correspondence; drafting demand packages; communicating with treating doctors, adjusters and experts (both medical and non-medical); drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery; e-filing / e-service; scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials; preparing for trial; trial attendance - errands may be necessary. Should have 1-3 years personal injury experience handling all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation files from initial client intake through trial. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Must be proficient in Word Perfect, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Should be proficient in Quickbooks. Must have High school or college degree. Previous personal injury law firm experience preferred.
