Regulatory / Compliance Attorney The candidate will assist client in compliance with all aspects of G20 regulatory requirements, particularly as they relate to ISDAs, MSFTAs and other trading documentation. Assist in drafting, negotiating and amending trading documentation to ensure compliance with G20 regulations. Offer assistance relating to G20 regulations to internal stakeholders, with particular emphasis on the Dodd-Frank External Business Conduct Rules, Clearing, EMIR, and G20 Trade Reporting. Act as a central point of contact for G20 requirements for new and existing clients. Identify potential regulatory issues and delays, produce related reports and status updates and ensure all databases are accurate and up-to-date. The candidate should have 1 year of compliance/regulatory experience and Juris Doctor degree. Working understanding of the G20 requirements, including the Dodd-Frank Act and EMIR, especially as each pertains to the obligations of Swap Dealers is needed. Must have strong knowledge of laws, rules and regulations pertaining to financial services firms. Strong communication, organizational and analytical abilities are required. Should have experience with the swap and security-based swap markets for one or more product classes.
