Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities. Assembling and filing motions and other pleadings (including assembling of exhibits, and other pertinent documents, including declarations). Preparing templates for motions and other pleadings, including declarations, and discovery demands (interrogatories, requests to produce documents, etc.). Reviewing and editing motions and other pleadings, and cite checking case law. Preparing tables of contents and tables of authorities for briefs. Pulling case law cited in briefs. Reviewing and organizing documents. Summarizing deposition transcripts. Performing fact investigation. Client intake, including interviewing potential clients. Monitoring news reports. Managing office administrative tasks. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate. 3 years litigation experience, with Federal and State courts experience. Strong familiarity with Federal and State rules of civil procedure and local court rules. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading experience. Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment.
