Assistant Paralegal/ Writer -Business Immigration The candidate will assist in case processing (forms, support letters and Firm Correspondence). Duties include drafting government forms, writing detailed persuasive letters, maintaining files, reviewing documents, identifying issues, and communicating with clients. Must adhere to the Firms privacy and confidentiality policies and may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential functions as determined by business necessity: Perform intake of cases once assigned. Draft Petitions/Applications and file with government agency. Writing detailed persuasive letters. Analyzing and summarizing published works of candidates. Maintain client contact information. Provide status updates. File documents in proper order. Update case management system. Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications. Build knowledge of Firm and client processes. Should have BA or BS; 3.0 or higher GPA; 0-2 years experience; Strong writing and research skills; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work at fast pace under tight deadlines.
