Litigation Legal Secretary Responsibilities: Process incoming mail for assigned cases File and serve case documents (including E-Filing). Word processing and document management. Drafting and transmittal of outgoing correspondence. Maintain calendar on assigned cases. Assist with overflow and special projects in addition to day-to-day tasks. Coordinate travel arrangements, preparing expense reports and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications: Associates Degree or higher. 3+ years' experience working in law firm environment. Knowledge of state and federal rules of civil procedure and rules of court. Knowledge of federal CM/ECF filing procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of rules-based calendaring software. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Must be detail oriented with the ability to think logically for analyzing and prioritizing problems.
