Attorney - Family Law The candidate will communicate with courts, trustees, opposing counsel and other local law firms in order to represent the client. Representing clients during uncontested and contested divorces and custody matters. Work in a relaxed and productive atmosphere. Communicating with clients via telephone, email, and face to face. Attorney-Client consultations. Researching and drafting pleadings (JDR and Circuit Court). Generate new business through prospecting and marketing. Work as a member of a team to accomplish firm-wide goals. Doctorate Degree is required. Must be licensed / member of the Virginia State Bar. Should have 1+ year of experience in Family Law - contested and uncontested Divorce matters, Child Support, Custody Disputes, etc. Criminal Law experience is an added plus. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
