Attorney The candidate will join Personal Injury firm. Will handle PI cases from inception through litigation and trial/arbitration. This includes overseeing medical care; preparing, propounding and responding to discovery; aggressively taking and defending plaintiff, defendant, witness, PMK, and expert depositions; drafting motions (such as oppositions to MSJs); pre-trial work-up (MILs, Trial Briefs, etc) and bringing the case to resolution through settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration, or verdict. Must have experience with, and an understanding of, brain injuries, spine injuries, and orthopedic injuries. Trial experience is a plus. Must be licensed in California. Should have 3+ years of PI experience litigating cases involving catastrophic and serious injuries, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and some less serious collisions.
