Title : Real Estate Paralegal

Real Estate Paralegal Duties: Work with multiple attorneys in its Real Estate Practice Group. Assist several attorneys with obtaining, preparing and/or filing various documents, certificates, statements, amendments, and forms. Preparing and tracking closing checklists and transactional documentation from letter of intent through completion of closing binders. Participating in and attending closings; obtaining deeds and title documentation; assisting with various loan and lease documents; reviewing due diligence materials, and obtaining documents from various governmental agencies. Conducting title examinations and updates and preparing title commitments, title insurance policies, and title reports/opinions. Requirements: Bachelors / Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certification. Should have 1-3 years of commercial real estate work and title examination/title work experience. Experience preparing loan and closing documents, closing binders and compendiums, negotiating title policies in connection with land acquisition and disposition transactions, experience preparing various contracts, loan documents, lease agreements, etc. Prior commercial real estate paralegal experience and a strong sense of professionalism. Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office needed.
